New Addition To Our Family, Meeka the Calico Kitty

This is Meeka, she is 2 months old and we adopted her from the Humane Society of Hawaii.

So far she and our Dog Maggie are indifferent to each other. They never play like Maggie used to play with our previous (mainland) cat Gracie.

Germain’s Luau, Our first Luau! photos and video

My boyfriend and I listened to a time share in Waikiki the other day and we scored two free tickets (normally $72 each!) to Germaine’s Luau on Oahu in Hawaii and boy was it the most wonderful time ….  They call it “Hawaii’s Original Too Good To Miss Luau!”  They also gave us tickets for 4 free bar drinks each.  We had a COUPLE Mai Tais and a Germaine’s Special Blue Hawaii and a big Lava Flow, yummy!

So here we are , our Luau guide was named Ki’i (pronounced kee ee) she was allot of fun and really made you feel like family. Everyone here calls everyone family, auntie, uncle, etc because Hawaii truly has the Aloha spirit.
