Cougar Fights Bear Cub
This is a short clip from the movie “The Bear”
The director of _Quest for Fire_ creates yet another film in nature with almost no human dialogue in this picturesque story of an orphaned bear cub who is adopted by an adult male bear and must avoid hunters. Bart the Bear stars in this anthropomorphic fantasy.

[..YouTube..] First of all you can calm down. I didn’t do anything to deserve such an angry impatient comment.
I was replying for the people who were asking about whether it was real or not.
[..YouTube..] what the hell is withthe terrible sound effects
[..YouTube..] ahah.. well said man!
[..YouTube..] I woulda shit a blue striped twinkie!!!!!
[..YouTube..] at the end, he grabs some bullets, is he going to shoot the bear?
[..YouTube..] why does the bear have a human voice?
[..YouTube..] what is name of this full movie?
[..YouTube..] Yes, the bear has a human voice, the limb is hinged, the floating branch wouldn’t support a dog let alone a bear, they paint the cub’s cheeks red at the end…
Nature isn’t glorious enough without turning every wild animal into Bambi? The French must never complain about the presence of Euro Disney.
[..YouTube..] Sorvos, I’m a biologist who bow hunts and eats what he kills. Not everyone fits into your little theories. I love animals with a passion but I don’t think it’s wrong to kill and eat them, those that are for food. We’re made to eat wild game meat and fish. Look around you at all the fat people, this world has gone insane. Ditto for our alienation from Nature which is the true cause behind our current state of wrecking the planet.
[..YouTube..] So you’re saying that people nowadays are fat because they don’t eat game? Or is it because of the junk they eat. You can have a very healthy life by eating beef and chicken along with natural vegetables.
[..YouTube..] You may have misunderstood my “theories”, as you called them. I was refering to hunting for trophies and for one’s own morbid satisfaction of killing defenseless animals. You hunt for food. So all you eat is game? Mind you, you are predisposed to many forms of cancers, if you eat game regularly. Even so, I don’t blame you for hunting rabbits or deer once in a while to eat them, with the condition that the animals you hunt are not on the brink of extiction.
[..YouTube..] But even so, I stiil think that animals which are hunted from a distance with a rifle or in your case, a bow, are not given much chance. That’s all.
[..YouTube..] Yeah you are right ! One french guy made a film invoving animals 22 years ago, therefore all the french people must worship Disney’s holy glory.
Perfect logic !
[..YouTube..] cute
[..YouTube..] should put a spoiler alert here.. No he does not shoot it.. he even saves it from the other hunters
[..YouTube..] Fantástico !!
[..YouTube..] its really amazzzzing.. MOTHERS R MOTHERS in every creatoin of god
[..YouTube..] remeber this movie I watch it when I was 10 maybe amanizing
[..YouTube..] @Sorvos where did you come up with the theory game meat predisposes one to many cancers? In fact, it is artificial foods, and foods we didn’t evolve with that predisposes humans to cancers. BTW, the diet I recommend is not carnivorous, but omnivorous. Actually, it’s not the diet I recommend so much as it is the diet we are made for.
[..YouTube..] @Sorvos distance hunting . . .with bow and arrow, especially longbow and recurve it is under 30 yds. and yes the game has a good chance, but I don’t know what the point is. Due wild berries have a chance when we go out to pick them? Do fish have a chance when we fish? No and yes, but you are mixing issues here. Food vs. the element of sport.
[..YouTube..] What kind of game to you hunt for food?
And yes, compared to beef, pork or chicken, game meat contains a lot more proteins that are not only harder to digest, but they also favour the neoplasic process on a far greater scale than domestic meat.
[..YouTube..] the movies called bear
that was bart
[..YouTube..] It’s allright, I gotcher back
[..YouTube..] cougars are the most beautiful cat!
[..YouTube..] @Sorvos turkey, elk, deer, and fish. You can claim game meats favors neoplasia, but back it up! I might as well claim
veganism favors small brains. As a matter of fact veganism is a terrible diet for children. Game meat is a health food, known to reduce harmful cholesterol, etc. Which is why venison and buffalo jerky are often sold at health food stores in Europe and increasingly in the US.
[..YouTube..] Where did I state I don’t eat meat? It’s absurd to think that.
About red meat: in sufficient amounts, favours neoplasic development, because of its rich source of proteins. Proteins have a decisive role in new tisue construction. That doesn’t mean they are directly responsible for cancer. There are a huge amount of factors that are responsible for that, like viruses, genetic background, but cellular development ( thanks to proteins ) favours them.
[..YouTube..] So hyperproteinemia significanty increases the risk of cancer IF a malignant cell has developed into a tissue, causing the maligant cell to divide and develop abnormally. There are a specific type of protein that are mutated if a neoplasic process appears. They are called oncoproteins. Their main role is to inactivate the GAP jonctions between cells and by that, prevent other cells from transmiting signals to the malignant cell in order to stop it from dividing.
[..YouTube..] Thereofore, with the signals inhibited, the malignant cell has green light and starts to divide without stopping and all the other malignant cells that result from it do the same, leading to an anarchic process that can’t be stopped by the organism.
It doesn’t always have to end in cancer, since it can also end in a benign tumor, depending on the body’s reaction, genetics and too many other factors that not even medics can explain.
[..YouTube..] @Sorvos I didn’t say you didn’t eat meat. Look, a majority of people in the world are overweight, out of shape, and just plain unhealthy. Millions of people are searching for a better diet, but the answer is so obvious it’s the one we were made for, the one we evolved with. Most of the food people eat today is pure crap, it’s making millions obese, etc. etc. The experiment obviously has failed.
[..YouTube..] So to make a point, proteins HELP the cancer process, they don’t start it. But you can never tell when a cancer starts, since there are so many aspects about this disease that are not understood today. Point is that a unnecessary amount of proteins puts you at risk, by helping the cancer cells, if they are started by oncogenetic factors. And wild meat has a much less fat percentage than domestic meat, which is replaced by a bigger percentage of protein.
[..YouTube..] You weren’t paying attention to my posts. I never said to drop the meat and eat fast food and other junk food. Never. Please read my post and you’ll understand by a diet based on meat raises the risk of contracting cancer.
[..YouTube..] @Sorvos your theory is contradicted by the fact hunter-gathers had extremely low incidences of cancers, heart disease, diabetes, and all the other diseases now COMMON in modern man. And that’s age adjusted. Modern man (and woman) are in trouble and it is in large part diet related.
[..YouTube..] If my theory is contradicted then you should read more on this matter to see that I actually tell a bit of truth there. A diet based on meat increases the risk of cancer, especially since almost 80% of the men on the globe are PRONE to develop prostate cancer.
Also, people that rely on meat more than other food and don’t balance it with other food live LESS than people that have a balanced diet.
[..YouTube..] @Sorvos further more, if you cut back on proteins too much the brain keeps telling you to eat more. This endless cycle of overeating and not being sated is well known but has zillions of victims nevertheless. Just look around you, the majority of people have sick obese bodies. I’m 61 and lean with the body of a collegiate swimmer. Resting pulse 50. I wish I could post a picture here.
[..YouTube..] What has this to do with what I said about cancer and the helping role proteins present in this matter. Your health is admirable and I wish you nothing but the best. But you said you were a biologist, so you wouldn’t have a hard time understanding what I said. I guess I was wrong. And obesity has little to do with cancer, which was my point here. I suggest you re-read what I explained.
[..YouTube..] @Sorvos The American Cancer Society says obesity causes cancer. I suggest you google just that. The human body evolved with the Paleolithic diet, you can’t improve it nor can
all these experts with their diet plans.
[..YouTube..] Unlike you, I don’t need to google, since I study many of this aspects in college. With that being said, have a nice day. Also, google yourself, since it is your only method of gaining information. You’ll be surprised what interesting aspects you may find cocerning diet.
[..YouTube..] @Sorvos nice cop out – you are simply displaying a common intellectual weakness – the inability to accept information which contradicts a cherished belief. I am willing to acknowledge there are also studies which show the opposite, namely linkage between high protein diets and cancer. These studies are invariably based on American types of high protein diets. It is very hard to buy LEAN beef, chicken, etc. w/o antibiotic, hormonal, and pesticidal residues! Another failed dietary experiment!
[..YouTube..] Anyway, YOU and anyone else can try whatever experimental diet(s) you want, but the Paleolithic Prescription was Proven for over a million years. The guys who dreamed up “Mars Bars” and “Big Macs” did it in a boardroom. IMHO, the vast majority of “food” in grocery stores is at least mildly poisonous. For starters, most of the crap is full of preservatives so it can (cost effectively) sit on the shelves for literally years. The consumer has been brainwashed that this junk actually is food.
[..YouTube..] Boy do I ever agree. This turns my stomach. That poor cub doesn’t know this is all fake. He doesn’t know he isn’t going to drown or be killed by the predator. This is horrible. I stopped watching Disney movies when I was a kid because they were too upsetting. The film maker should be ashamed.
[..YouTube..] This is so ridiculous and unbelievable … I mean, seriously, a beat cub that sighs and grunts like a human?? And all the blood on the cub’s snout as the cougar attacks, that mysteriously disappears & then reappears just in time for the “mother” (looked like a male to me, but whatever) to clean it up at the end???/ Stupid and shameless!
[..YouTube..] Bart the Bear
[..YouTube..] …that got real disturbing at the end. I hate bears, but I was actually feeling sorry for the cub…up until the cougar started swatting at it and the bear lost it’s damn mind.
[..YouTube..] I would like to watch that movie…
)
[..YouTube..] This bear was mato. He was born in 1987 in a Belgium Zoo. In 26-01-2010 he was found dead in his cage in Dierenpark Emmen, Holland.
[..YouTube..] Just in case? LOVE YA MOM!
[..YouTube..] i cried;( im so death scared of bears!
[..YouTube..] ayyy! el maor de una madre!!
